I have been enjoying the run on Daredevil so far. Therefore I would be terribly shocked had the conclusion not matched up to it’s predecessors. It has obviously been leading into some showdowns and in this regard it delivers. My biggest problem with the book, and it could be just because I’m not hip with the mythos, was when the villains left a hero on the ground unconscious, then talked about why it isn’t worth their time to kill him, rather than just killing him. Fortunately, I can look through this, and not be bothered too much.
Overall I really liked this run, I still like Ed Brubaker, although it isn’t my favorite stuff of his to date. For some reason the concept of Lady Bullseye had me really excited to read the book and, for all intents and purposes, it worked. It was definitely enjoyable. I also liked another character they used in this run, a certain Master Izo. I don’t know if he is in any other books, but I liked the way he was written in this one.
The preview for next issue has me interested to keep reading. Now, by law I am contracted to stop speaking, because if I keep going I will reveal more about the book than Marvel will allow, therefore I will just rephrase: if you liked the rest of the run so far, I don’t think you will be let down, although it does leave you with plenty of questions that will make you want to keep reading. So that is exactly what you should do.
This comic book would roll, if it didn’t Rock! ? –Slugtron
This is Doctor Cyborg saying “Sorry for the crappy review”, I just don’t have the time to write anything more in depth about this single issue of comic book. There was nary a robot boob in it. Although I have to say, I am more of an robot vagina man anyway. Doctor Cyborg!
