Two of my favorite comics are coming out this week. Ultimate Spider-man and Mighty Avengers. I’m looking forward to seeing more Secret Invasion cross-overs with Mighty Avengers.

This week Swank-mo-tron had a few things to add to the Pull List:

Batman #675 – This is the first issue of Grant Morrison’s “Batman R.I.P.” and it’s going to be either brilliant or total balls. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt, but I’m one of those robots that thinks Batman has been around for 70+ years because his character doesn’t change all that radically.

Fables #72 – Bill Willingham is 72 issues in on what might possibly be the coolest series ever. Fables is on my “never miss” list. And you have no excuse to avoid it since the first trade is cheap. And you’ll be hooked.

Hulk #3 – Jeph Loeb + Ed McGuinness + A Mysterious Red Hulk with a gun = Rad.

X-Force #3 – I haven’t read an X-book in years and have no idea what the hell is going on in the universe, but this book is like the Weapon X version of Mission: Impossible and it’s really cool.

The Spirit #16 – This relaunch of the spirit has been really fun and cool. Darwyn Cooke’s stuff was rad, but this is written by the hardest working man in comics, Sergio Arragones and is really funny.
