During the Book of Eli panel by Warner Bros. at the San Diego Comic Con, Gary Oldman let fly that the follow up to the wildly successful Dark Knight should be going into production in 2010:

“I think the next Batman is next year; we start shooting next year. You didn’t hear that from me.”
