Comic Pulls 4/7

This week we’ll get to find out what happened to Reed Richards in Secret Invasion #1. After such great tie ins the last couple weeks, I can’t wait to see what happens next in Secret Invasion #2. Like (spoiler):

What the fuck is the deal with Spider-Woman?! Triple-secret agent AND a Skrull?!

Next up in the order I’ll read my stash: Logan #3. You’ve heard me rave a lot about this book already. It’ll be a bitter sweet ending.

After I read Logan, it’ll be time for the Mighty Avengers #13. The last kickass issue was all about Nick Fury and where he’s been hiding since the Secret War.

The Boys #18 will be my last read this week. For those who have read Garth Ennis’s writing before, you know what to expect from this book. Not one I would recommend to everyone, but it certainly doesn’t suck.

Swank-Mo-Tron has the following additions of things to look out for:

Detective Comics #844 – Paul Dini’s run on Detective has actually made this title the best it’s been in a long time.  If you’re not reading it, shame on you.

I’m going to check out (though I don’t know for how long) Marvel’s launch of a new Iron Man title, The Invincible Iron Man.  It’s designed to hook fans of the movie with a brand new #1 issue.  I’m willing to give it a shot, though I’ve heard nothing about it.

DC Special Raven #3.  Damion Scott was one of the best things about the Batgirl series from 2001 (or so) and he’s teamed up with Marv Wolfman for this 5 issues limited series.  It should be worth checking out.
