GONK goes all fanboy when he gets the latest from Tom Taylor, writer of the award-winning The Deep and various Star Wars titles including Blood Ties: Boba Fett is Dead, Invasion, and the upcoming Darth Maul series.
If you’ve been reading my reviews, you’ll know that I think highly of Tom Taylor’s writing, especially on his most recent Star Wars comics, Blood Ties: Boba Fett Is Dead, and the final story arc of Invasion. He’s also created his own graphic novel series, The Deep (from Gestalt Comics), which I first mentioned a few months back in an interview with Tom on Boba Fett is Dead. At Comic Con in San Diego this past weekend, I got a chance to chat with Tom at the Gestalt booth, and find out the latest on Boba Fett Is Dead, Darth Maul: Death Sentence, and the second volume of The Deep. I tried not to embarrass myself too much in the process.
