John Scalzi has a good thing going right now. Scalzi is accessible science fiction, and his new series for Tor, ‘The Collapsing Empire’…is Scalzi (the storyteller) at his best. ‘The Collapsing Empire’ has the perfect combination of politics, action and pure madness. Expect cut-throat personalities, manipulations of every kind, deception, and of course a good dose of humor to make it more palatable. Scalzi is constantly reinventing; breaking the genre and putting it back together better than ever. I recently had a chance to talk to Mr. Scalzi at the Denver Comic Con.
