“Heroes!” is the latest Kickstarter prose anthology from Silence in the Library and there’s only about a day left to jump on it. I would urge you to do so.
For one, do you like superheroes? Of course you do, or you wouldn’t be visiting a site like Big Shiny Robot! Do you like writers like Timothy Zahn and Michael Stackpole and Aaron Allston and…well…me? I would hope so. Do you like illustrations from comic artists like Mark Dos Santos? You should.
Well, what you’d be getting in this collection is a group of short stories about superheroes, their sidekicks, what makes a hero, and they’re all winners illustrated by Mark Dos Santos.
And the best part about this project is that kicking in $5 gets you the eBook of the project and a whole lot more extra free stuff to read besides.
Stretch goals the project is coming close to include adding stories by Alan Dean Foster and John Kovalic, which are two names you won’t want to pass up.
I admit, it’s slightly self-serving to let you know about this project, since I’ll get paid for my short story in the collection, but it’s too cool to pass up and I wouldn’t feel right about not filling you in about it. Check out the Kickstarter and remember you don’t have a whole lot of time left to jump on board.
