Ghosted in L.A. follows the story of young Daphne Walters, who moves to Los Angeles to go to the same college as her high school sweetheart. Her best friend seems to be rather jealous of her ‘serious’ relationship, and decides it’s time to tell her how she feels, causing a huge fight between the two of them.

Once she arrives in her new dorm room, she meets her new roommate, and needless to say, they aren’t hitting it off like she had hoped. There’s all these rules in place, she has a curfew now, and boys aren’t allowed in her room.

Naturally, she runs to Ronnie for comfort, but on the ride to L.A. with his parents, he decides that he hasn’t lived life to the fullest, and that he should break up with Daphne. After running away from his room, Daphne finds herself in an abandoned mansion, or so she thinks…

This story has the ability to make you connect with Daphne straight out the gate. In just one issue, you can already tell that you and Daphne would probably be friends if she weren’t just an illustration on the page. She is such a relatable character, especially if you’ve ever experienced a breakup like this one.

From GLAAD Award-nominated Sina Grace (Iceman) and illustrator Siobhan Keenan (Clueless, Jem and the Holograms) comes a story about learning how to make friends, find love, and live life to the fullest with a little help from some friends whose lives didn’t end at death.

At a solid price of $3.99, you too can take a peak in to the life of Daphne Waters, and her new ghostly group of misfits.
