Over the course of San Diego Comic-Con, I was able to do a lot of things in regards to “Star Wars: Rebels.” I got to meet Chopper at the Hitfix/Lucasfilm party, I attended panels dedicated to the show, I got to see the pilot, and I got to do roundtable interviews with all the principles involved.
A great time was had by all.
There were quite a few things talked about and many of them are recorded for your listening pleasure on the above embedded episode of Full of Sith.
Here’s the official blurb:
Bryan heads out to San Diego Comic-Con to see the Star Wars things there are to see, but this year it was mainly the new show, Rebels. He gathers instant reaction from a screening of the premiere with regular co-host Amy Ratcliffe, Chris Taylor (Mashable, author How Star Wars Conquered the Universe), Jawa James Floyd (Club Jade), and Dartanian (Wookiee). Then, he goes through press interviews about the show, so you’ll hear from the cast and crew: Dave Filoni, Simon Kinberg, Freddie Prinze, Jr., Tiya Sircar, Taylor Gray, Steve Blum, and Vanessa Marshall.
Some of the most interesting bits?
Simon Kinberg explains the working relationship George Lucas has on the new films, Tiya Sircar addresses issues regarding Sabine as a Mando, and Dave Filoni elaborates on how much he loves “Star Wars” and how much he loves working on “Star Wars: Rebels.” Kinberg also goes into detail about how high he was when he met George Lucas for the first time, which is a great story.
