Universal signs 3 year deal with Dark Horse, production/distribution creative access to characters, the works.

I’d also heard rumors a while back that the studio was offering up their monster catalogue to Del Toro for us in the Hellboy movies. Haven’t heard confirmation, but the idea of it makes me feel yucky in all the right ways.

Sad to see Mark Romanek pull out of Universal’s Wolfman relaunch, but with Joe Johnston helming it wont be a total waste. Either way, it’s nice to see Universal taking a respectable stab at respectfully reinrtoducing the public to some of the most iconic monsters in film history.
