Clarke was one of those classic Sci-Fi writers like Issac Asimov or Philip K. Dick whose words and idea’s not only tickled the brains of millions of devotee’s to the genre, but also posed many of the questions and theories that have shaped the high tech world around us. To call writers of his ilk visionary would be a gross understatement. Not many of them left.
He had a good run. More than 100 books and one of the best films the world has ever seen. He’ll be missed.
