Just two days ago on Big Shiny Robot! I wished that they would make a new Batgirl solo book. 

Today I was looking through DC’s website and found that they are actually going to make a Batgirl solo comic that hits the shelves the 3rd week of July.

So the lesson to be learned is “Be careful what you wish for,” because this comic book is more than likely going to suck.

The reason it will probably suck is because the writer is Adam Beechen, the douche-bag who wrote the last really crappy run on Robin.  In fact, I’m pretty sure that before his run, the dude had never read a single issue of DC comics with Tim Drake in it at all.

In any case I am just going to pray for the best until July and hope that it turns out better then I expect it to.
