If you’ve been putting off getting all those indie games your friends have been telling you about, you’re out of excuses starting today. The “Because We May” one week sale (May 24th – June 1st) celebrates the platforms and developers friendly and conducive to indie game developers. A ton of great indie game you’ve heard of (and probably a bunch of greats you haven’t) are on sale right now, including titles like Braid, Super Meat Boy, Binding of Isaac, Osmos, Cogs, World of Goo, Darwinia, and the list goes on and on. Some of these titles are on sale for as much as 75% off.
The sale includes games for PC and Mac, like you’d expect, but also iOS and Android. Because come on guys, how long can you really fling birds at shoddily constructed pig forts? Okay, a long time. But still, this is your chance to pick up some new toilet games on the cheap.
And if that’s not enough to get your indie-loving shorts in a bunch, you can choose your flavor of delivery as well. You can get the games directly from the developer, DRM free and all that, and be sure 100% of your money is going directly to the developer. Or you can go through the App Store, Google Play, or get Steam codes. The sale is only on for one week, so stock up while you can!
