Well folks, the last two days have been nothing more than a blur of humanity as SLCC packed 70,000 people into the Salt Palace. At one point we were informed that no one was allowed re-entry due to the burgeoning numbers that had shown up to make Saturday an absolutely insane day. While we ran Dive Kick madness and did our best to avoid shame, the wonderful attendees beat us to a pulp. We lost a lot of matches folks, a ton.
In the artist alley we had a moment to look at Chosen, a graphic novel written by Jacob Oritt and illustrated by Quinton Watson. Imagine if you can God as a bored lawyer looking for something to shake up his creations. Why not give five regular kids super powers and watch the events unfold. The illustrations are gorgeous, and the two gentlemen behind it were phenomenal, definitely give them a look.
Towards the front you could have found your way to the illustrious Utah Pokemon Booth. These gentlemen were offering free lessons in the Pokemon TCG as well as hosting Pokemon battles all weekend long. They are also responsible for all Pokemon League sanctioned play which gains you entrance into the National and World championships.
