According to eyewitnesses at the premier of one of McDuffie’s latest projects, the animated All Star Superman. He is survived by his wife, and all of us here at BSR wish his family the greatest of condolences.
While it is sad that McDuffie has left us, a cursory glance at twitter shows us how many he has touched. Writer Dan Slott remembers the time where McDuffie put his name in a comic the first time, and how much it meant to him. Alex Segura calls him “a class act”. Even Comics Alliance’s Chris Sims reminisced, talking about how McDuffie was the first creator to comment on his blog.
