Considering the movie comes out in five months, many were wondering if we were ever going to get a trailer. Well fear not, as Lionsgate has dropped it on us a few hours ahead of their panel at New York Comic Con, and all I can say is DAMN!
While we don’t get much in the way of action, it neatly sets up some of the Rangers’ backstories and shows how they got their Power Coins along with a brief glimpse at Rita Repulsa. It’s also a smart move to take the superhero route with the characters as well as aiming for a more mature take on their stories over the typical kids’ versions.
But all of this is getting in the way of what you want to see, so without further ado …
