Space X has released a video showcasing a concept for an interplanetary transport system they would use to ferry humans to Mars. Utilizing the reusable boosters Space X has become famous for, the craft would be launched into Earth orbit. The booster would then return to earth for a fuel tank before rendezvousing with the main craft. The system would also utilize a duo of solar sails to make its way to the red planet.

While details are still sparse, Space X has shown innovation and perseverance to make private space travel a reality, having already ferried supply missions to the International Space Station.

It’s possible that further details regarding the company’s future plans will be outlined during Elon Musk’s keynote address at the International Astronautical Congress set to begin at 12:30 mountain time.
