We’re still a month out from Kevin Smith’s return to the big screen with the next installment of the True North Trilogy “Yoga Hosers” but fans of the Askewniverse jonesing for a fix can wet their whistle with this two minute short written and directed by Smith and starring Stan Lee among others.
In what is a thinly veiled ad for Audi and “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” Lee teaches a group of actors the art of the cameo, and who better to teach the craft than the Generalissimo himself? The short includes appearances from Lou Ferrigno, Michael Rooker, Jason Mewes and more, as well as being packed to the brim with references for fans of Smith, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and pop culture at large. In particular, Rooker’s choice of snack food caused a shit eating grin so large I might come down with a sudden case of diphtheria.
